Guy Trahan
President, Worldcolor Latin America
Guy Trahan graduated from Université Laval with a degree in business administration and rose quickly to senior executive positions in sales, production and marketing with leading companies such as Procter & Gamble, Cummins, Palmar Automotive, Panval Inc. and Sorel Steel Inc.
In 1985, Mr. Trahan joined the Canadian Printer Gazette, a division of Southam Printing Ltd., as Vice President and General Manager, Printing Resources.
In 1988, he joined Worldcolor as President of the Eastern Canada Group, Worldcolor. Mr. Trahan was responsible for the largest diversified commercial printing network in Quebec, with 11 plants, as well as 2 in New Brunswick, 1,650 employees, and annual sales of nearly $240 million. Guy Trahan played an important role in the restructuring of Worldcolor's printing facilities.
Guy Trahan contributed to Worldcolor's success in the competitive North American marketplace through his leadership, communication skills, dedication and commitment to excellence. In 1993, he was one of three winners of the "Nouveaux Performants" award, which honours executives who have made an exceptional contribution to their company's efficiency.
Today, Mr. Trahan is the President of Worldcolor Latin America, directing the printing and sales operations of a network that extends from Argentina to Mexico, includes eight strategically located facilities, and pursues cross-selling activities with the Book and Directory groups in the U.S.
