Making a Lasting Impression with Worldcolor's EnviroInk
Heatset, coldset, and sheetfed inks used by Worldcolor are non hazardous. They do not contain any heavy metals, and they are neither flammable nor combustible.
All heatset inks used to produce the body of publications by Worldcolor contain a minimum of 20%, by weight, renewable ressources, primarily pine rosins, along with some vegetable oils. Pine rosins include derivatives of pine trees and byproducts of the treatment of pine pulp for the manufacture of kraft paper. Vegetable oils typically include lindseed oil, canola oil, soybean oil and/or tung oil.
At the request of a customer, Worldcolor will imprint the following logo and qualifying statement on the cover of a publication when heatset inks are used.
